Delicious Apple Strudel Wrapped in Flaky Puff Pastry

Made using store-bought puff pastry, this easy apple strudel recipe is packed with tart apples, sweet brown sugar, and plenty of warm spices. Puff pastry apple strudel is sure to become a fall favorite!

It’s hard to believe there was a time when I felt intimidated by the idea of working with puff pastry. Desserts made with puff pastry look so fancy, which led me to think they must be difficult to make. But that couldn’t be further from the truth!

A package of store-bought puff pastry can be a fantastic shortcut to creating delicious and easy recipes. Some of my go-to creations include puff pastry cinnamon rolls, puff pastry danishes, and cherry turnovers.

Currently, I’m particularly fond of this puff pastry apple strudel. It has quickly become one of my favorite fall brunch recipes, and I have a strong feeling it will make an appearance on my Thanksgiving breakfast menu too.

Ingredients
1 package of store-bought puff pastry
4 tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
